ABOUT GEODES: Geodes are rock structures occurring in various sizes, usually spherical or subspherical in shape. They have a tough exterior and lining of mineral materials within. When split into two pieces, the bejewelled inner walls are revealed. Often, the mineral lining is made up of a druse of tiny quartz crystals supported by bands of translucent grey and white agate.   

NATURAL ORIGIN: Morocco.

HANDLING AND CARE: Avoid prolonged exposure to intense light or strong heat. Clean regularly to prevent buildup of dirt and dust. It is safe to clean quartz geodes with mild soapy, lukewarm tap/lake water using a soft brush. Dry the inner geode with a soft cloth. The exterior is best air dried. Do not steam clean.
